READING

We are reading a social studies book about transportation this week. It is called On the Go. We will use this book to teach the sound of o, classify vehicles as modes of transportation, recognize nouns, review high frequency words, and recognize the main idea of a story. Look for homework this week.

MATH

We are working on telling time to the hour and half hour. We will finish this unit today, but will keep practicing our skills on our clock in the classroom. You can help at home by pointing out the clock when it is on the hour and half hour and ask your child what time it is. Practice will keep this skill fresh in their minds.

RELIGION

Our topic this week is how Jesus is a good friend to us and is with us all the time. Homework was sent home last evening. Please brush up the prayers your child learned this year. We will begin end of the year testing next week.
